Olde(y) Tyme(y) Lyrics

I've had a bad day
I am ashamed
And I'm afraid
And I am drained of what was named
Self respectIf the bridge that I was driving over collapsed while I was driving over it
That may not be such a bad thing
I would finally meet my maker, I could meet the great creator
And I'd punch him for teaching me how to sayAnd my body would be at the bottom of a lake in West Virginia
Instead of at the bottom of this bottle I drink
I don't have a drinking problem, don't have a drinking solution
I don't think I ever learned to thinkNo one knows what it's like to be
Anybody but themselves
No one
No - hoo - one
No - hoo - one else

Andrew Jackson Jihad is an American folk/punk/rock group from Phoenix, Arizona, formed in 2004. They have been classified as everything from indie rock to anti-folk to Americana. Andrew Jackson Jihad was formed after its original drummer, Justin James White, approached Sean Bonnette and Ben Gallaty, who had just left Rodan (not the Rodan of Kentucky fame) and The Sub-Standards. Since then, many significant Arizona musicians have sat in with the remaining duo of Sean and Ben, including John De La Cruz of Fatigo and Asleep In The Sea's Owen Evans.
