On Deaf Ears We Ride Tonight Lyrics

Wonder how you've been?
Do all of my pictures still
Hang above your bed?
Remember whenUnder the overhang
You smoked your brand
And I stayed quiet
As the ashes burnt my hand?Take this for what it's worth
Every part of you is part of me
It parted usOn deaf ears we'll ride tonight
Past the corner store
And through the red lights
And when it's time to say goodbyeWill you tell me sweetheart
When I lose my mind?
Take this for what it's worth
Every part of you is part of me
It parted usGuess I lost the battle for
Gracious green eyes
Have turned blood red

And they're staring me deadGuess I lost the battle for
Gracious Green eyes
Have turned blood red
And they're staring me deadMe dead, I followed you across the beach
You let the water touch your feet
And this is how it's supposed to be
The two of us die at seaTake this for what it's worth
Every part of you is part of me
It parted usGuess I lost the battle for
Gracious green eyes
Have turned blood red
And they're staring me dead
And they're staring me dead
And they're staring me dead

Having previously played together in the band Centsless, New Jersey-based Crash Romeo formed in late 2004 around friends Travis Weber (vocals), Ryan Weber (drums), Steve Anderson (guitar), Li'l Steve Matthews (bass/vocals), and Adam Nordmeyer (keyboards). New Jersey peers and pals BEDlight for blueEYES soon mentioned the exuberant pop-punk band to their record label, Trustkill, and though an obvious change in sound from the label's hardcore-oriented roster, Crash Romeo was an official part of the Trustkill family by November 2005.
