On The Coldest Day In Hell Lyrics

Do you remember years ago?
All our hopes would ebb and flow
We thought we'd find a promised land
Our footprints in the sandThe mysteries, the twists of fate
Have changed the path from love to hate
But won't erase sins of the past
They hide behind the maskIf I could conquer all our fears
Can forgiveness dry the tears?
If I falter, my soul I'll sell
On the coldest day in hellI'll never let you down
How can I tell you now?
But only heaven knows
I won't let you goI dream of demons through the night
A restless fever till morning light
My body's cold, my head's on fire
Give me back my life, ohKill this ghost inside of me
Let me sail on deep blue seas
A new beginning, another page

Dawn gives in to dayI will conquer all our fears
Let forgiveness dry the tears
If I falter, my soul I'll sell
On the coldest day in hellI'll never let you down
How can I tell you now?
But only heaven knows
I won't let you goI swear I'll stand my ground
How can I turn this 'round?
As this time heaven knows
I won't let you knowWhen I'm dreaming
I'm dreaming of you
When I'm breathing
I'm breathing with youWhen I'm dreaming
I'm dreaming of you
When I'm breathing
I'm breathing with youBut only heaven knows
I won't let you go

There is more than one band named Asia.

1) Asia is a progressive rock supergroup formed in the spring of 1981 by bassist and vocalist John Wetton (from King Crimson and Uk), guitarist Steve Howe (from Yes), drummer Carl Palmer (from Emerson, Lake & Palmer) and keyboardist Geoffrey Downes (from Buggles and Yes).

The band sold over nine million albums worldwide with their first self-titled Asia, that include the singles Heat of the Moment and Only Time Will Tell.

In 1990, Asia released its 4th album called Then & Now and only Geoffrey Downes continues with Asia along with bassist, vocalist and producer John Payne until 2004 when they published their 11th album Silent Nation, along with guitarist Guthrie Govan and drummer Chris Slade (from AC/DC).
The band emerged from its ashes commemorating the 25 anniversary of the original formation that brought it success in 1982 with a tour of North America, a DVD and a promotional CD.

Asia returned in 2008 with its first original album from the original line-up with "Phoenix" April 15, 2008, which was followed by a well received tour.

2) Asia was an excellent progressive hard rock band with epic and pomp rock hints. The band is from South Dakota (US) and should not be confused with the famous UK one. They released 2 albums: Asia (1979) and Armed to the Teeth (1980)
