On and Off Again Lyrics

I've come to fill you up
I've come to taste the price I'll pay
I've come to leave a note
I've come to see you on and off againThere have been tragic affairs
Ever so unreliable
And I could just you see through
These fingers and give it one more tryBut nothing stays the same
I stand in my own way
I hear you called again
I know not what to sayI've changed, become another
The one you used to stalk is real
I've come to make it better
I've come to see you through the end againAnd all the rumors in this house
Ever so unreliable
I would neglect them
If only lies gave us one more tryBut nothing stays the same
I stand in my own way
I hear you called again

I know not what to sayYour flowers are replaced
I catch myself amazed
'Cos nothing stays the same
AnywayI've come to know the reasons
I've come to realize the truth
'Cause though I leave her waiting
She knows I'll turn against myself againBut nothing stays the same
I stand in my own way
I hear you called again
I know not what to sayNo nothing stays the same
I stand in my own way
I hear you called again
I know not what to sayYour flowers are replaced
I catch myself amazed
No nothing stays the same
Nothing stays the same
Nothing stays the sameNothing stays the same
I am so amazed
I am so amazed
I am so amazedI've come to know the reasons
I've come to know the reasons
I've come to know the reasons
