Once And Forever Lyrics

Everything I need is what you give to me
I think it's time we make it official
Everybody knew right from day one
Would love to give you everything and then someInside and out, you're so beautiful
Any time you're gone, it feels like too long
Try to forget how it used to be
Before you came and made me happyYou know you inspire me to be a better man
Some things are never meant to endSo once and forever, let's make this last
We have the chance to be
Always together from now on
We're right where we belong
Once and forever, yeah, ooh yeahWhisper in my ear, baby, talk to me
Yeah, tell me everything I do is brand new
You we don't have to wait, let's take it there
Don't you think it's time, we should say 'I do'?I'm open wide, ain't even gonna lie
I never saw it coming how you
Make me feel inside of my heart
Before you came along, I was half of what I should beYou know you inspire me to be a better man

Some things are never, never meant to endOnce and forever, let's make this last
We have the chance to be
Always together from now on
We're right where we belongOnce and forever
With you, my heart is found a home
And you will never, ever have to be alone, be alone
Never, ever have to be aloneOnce and forever, let's make this last
We have the chance to be
Always together from now on
We're right where we belong
Once and forever

As the lead singer of brotherly trio The Gap Band, the pioneering group whose late 70’s early 80’s funk still serves as a guiding light for producers and singers, it has been a long road for Charlie Wilson. From the dusty roads of Tulsa, Oklahoma to the neon lights of Cali to being homeless in the city of angels, the brother has seen it all. "I went from riches to rags," Charlie laughs. "But now it’s time for me to take it back to the stage with ‘Charlie, Last Name Wilson’."
