Once in a Lifetime Lyrics

Looking at you
I can't hardly believe
After all this time
You've come to meI've searched the world over
I've searched far and wide
Just to be in one place
Right here by your sideAnd so many nights, baby
I've been wasting my time
On love untrue, waiting for youI've been watching for someone, baby
And I didn't know who
Something inside of me told me
It was you, I knewI knew that once in a lifetime
I'd find someone like you
And for once in my life
Someone's found me tooI knew that once in a lifetime
I'd find love again
Let our story of love begin
Never endI wish, I could tell you

How you changed my heart
Like a thousand lights
In the midst of the dark, ooh babyAnd so many nights, baby
I've been wasting my time
On love untrue, waiting for youI've been watching for someone, baby
And I didn't know who
Something inside of me told me
It was you, I knewI knew that once in a lifetime
I'd find someone like you
And for once in my life
Someone's found me tooI knew that once in a lifetime
I'd find love again
Let our story of love begin
Never, never endI've been praying so hard for you, yes, I have
Tryin' to get through to you, oh baby
I was watching for somebody, boy
And I didn't know who, who
Something inside of me told me
It had to be you, I knewI knew that once in a lifetime
I'd find someone like you
And for once in my, my life
Someone's found me tooI knew that once in a lifetime
I'd find love again
Let our story of love begin
Never, never endI knew that once in a lifetime
I'd find someone like you
And for once in my life
Someone's found me tooI knew that once in a lifetime
I'd find love again
Let our story of love begin
Never, never end, oh, baby
