One Day Lyrics

One day, I will have some answers,
I will be a wise man, I will speak the truth
One day, I will see much clearer
I will have a good plan, I will teach our youth
I'm not too old to die young, I am lost alone
I wish you would concede to form a pair
We all know that it is so wrong, to stand here on our own
We're blinded by the greed that we all shareWhere it's cold no one seems to care
Where it's cold no one's thereI live, in a territory, where it shouldn't matter, where you're from
Back when, we had pride and glory,
We were looking after, everyone
We never could appreciate, the desert in the snow
We're drowning as we drown the polar bear
And I'm amazed that the debate, is sinking oh so low
In the avarice that is spreading everywhereWhere it's cold no one seems to care
Where it's cold no one's thereWith the right lies and the right smiles you can do a lot of wrong
I'll pretend that I don't know nothing changes from a song
I guess we're all disconnected, some are red and some are blue

Maybe it's time for some purple to get throughWhere it's cold no one seems to care
Where it's cold no one's there

Ian grew up in Montreal in NDG, a neighborhood where French and English intertwine. He started his relationship with music on his brother’s drums in the family basement. That’s where it all began. Ian initially played drums but he quickly felt like learning other instruments, mainly the guitar, in order to develop his own musical universe. "When no money can be found to buy new records, you might as well make your own music. It’s like cooking, if you don’t like green peppers, don’t put any in what you’re making."
