One Day at a Time Lyrics

You don't know what I have been through
Trying to turn these wrongs to right
When I think of all the bad times that we've been through
I know that we were not so kind. But you're still my ballerina
whatever you choose, so I hope you remember
sometimes to win we must lose one another
so maybe we should take it one day at a time.
take it one day at a time. You don't know the eyes which have seen you
Visions i would never share.
You must think the road that I have traveled
is broken beyond repairBut you're still my ballerina
Whatever you choose, so i hope you remember
Sometimes to win we must lose one another
So maybe we should take it one day at a time
One day at a time, take it one day at time
One day at a time, take it one day at a time.
Take it one day at a time, yeah, one day at a time.

Athenaeum was an alternative pop rock four-piece band from Greensboro, North Carolina, USA formed in 1990 at an eighth grade dance by Nic Brown and Mark Kano. After several personnel changes, Kano and Brown recorded an eight song EP in 1995 with bassist Alex McKinney and lead guitarist Grey Brewster. The "Green Album," as it is widely known, sold about 10,000 copies. In 1996 the band was signed by Atlantic Records. They released their major label debut, Radiance, in 1998. The first single, "What I Didn't Know," was a minor hit.
