Ordinary Lyrics

Autumn leaves are fading
Another year of my life, passing me by
So long I have waited
For a taste of the life, I thought would be mineJust show me where to go
This place is all I knowFeeling lack of change
I'm sick of watching all the colors fade
They're so ordinary
I need to get away
'Cause I don't wanna waste another day
So ordinary
Every morning waking
Open my eyes, to the longing I feel inside
Watch the hours fading
Like the dreams in my mind, that wither and die with timeFeeling lack of change
I'm sick of watching all the colors fade
They're so ordinary
I need to get away
'Cause I don't wanna waste another day

So ordinaryCan't find an open door
Cracking the city wall
A way to reach the air outside
'Cause all I'm searching for
Is just a way to feel alive
Oh God I need to feel alive
(God I need to feel alive)
Feeling lack of change
I'm sick of watching all the colors fade
They're so ordinary
I need to get away
'Cause I don't wanna waste another day
So ordinary(Oh) Just show me where to go
(Oh) This place is all I know

On their debut album THE END OF THE BEGINNING, Like A Storm stir up a torrent of infectious hard rock. The Vancouver-based quartet's first full-length is an avalanche of captivating choruses and hard-hitting grooves, as exemplified by the first radio single “Chemical Infatuation.” Electronic textures and string flourishes cascade into a wall of distortion as vocal melodies hypnotize. Brothers Chris (Vocals/Guitar/Programming/ Didgeridoo), Matt (Vocals/Guitar/Programming) and Kent Brooks (Bass/Vocals/ Programming) conjure a dynamic rock sound that's simultaneously ethereal and edgy.
