Ordinary Lives Lyrics

There'll be one small light
All over the world tonight
The search will go on for the one
It was love with no name and we glowed in the sunThere was one small dream
Incredible highs and lows
What little we knew living ordinary lives
Made a dream for you, living ordinary livesOrdinary people, living ordinary lives
Ordinary people, living ordinary livesWe were ordinary people, living ordinary lives
We were ordinary people, living ordinary livesThe clock on the wall keeps moving
Time stands still
No matter how the dice may fall
Someone else always gets to call the numberSay goodbye, cruel world
No pity, no pain tonight
Whatever the cost, all is lost
And if it's love with no name, then it's all in the starsWhether it's wrong or right
There's no one to blame, no lies
What else could we do living ordinary lives
Made a dream for you, living ordinary livesWe were ordinary people, living ordinary lives

We were ordinary people, living ordinary lives
We were ordinary people
What else could we do, living ordinary lives
Made a dream for you, living ordinary livesWe were ordinary people, living ordinary lives
We were ordinary people, living ordinary lives
We were ordinary people, living ordinary lives

The Bee Gees, originally made up of three brothers: Barry Gibb, Robin Gibb (died 2012), and Maurice Gibb (died 2003), have been successful for most of their 40-plus years of recording music. They had two distinct periods of exceptional success: as a pop act in the late 1960s and early 1970s, and as a foremost act of the disco music era in the late 1970s. The Gibb brothers were born on the Isle of Man, UK to English parents in 1946 (Barry Alan Crompton Gibb, September 1) and 1949 ( twins Robin Hugh Gibb and Maurice (pronounced "Morris") Ernest Gibb, December 22).
