Ordinary Miracle (David A. Stewart, Glen Ballard) Lyrics

It's not that unusual
When everything is beautiful
It's just another ordinary miracle todayThe sky knows when it's time to snow
Don't need to teach a seed to grow
It's just another ordinary miracle todayLife is like a gift they say
Wrapped up for you every day
Open up and find a way
To give some of your own loveIsn't it remarkable?
Like every time a raindrop falls
It's just another ordinary miracle todayBirds in winter have their fling
They always make it home in spring
It's just another ordinary miracle todayWhen you wake up everyday
Please don't throw your dreams away
Hold them close to your heart
Cause we are all a part of the ordinary miracleOrdinary miracle
Do you want to see a miracle? It seems so exceptional
The things just work out after all
It's just another ordinary miracle todayThe sun comes up and shines so bright

And disappears again at night
It's just another ordinary miracle todayIt's just another ordinary miracle today

Sarah McLachlan (born Sarah Ann McLachlan January 28, 1968 in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada) is a Grammy-winning musician, singer and songwriter.

She is known for the emotional sound of her ballads. Some of her most popular songs include "Angel", "Building a Mystery", "Adia", "Possession", "Fallen", "I Will Remember You", and "World on Fire". Her best-selling album to date is Surfacing, for which she won two Grammy Awards and four Juno Awards.

Her first album Touch was released in September 28, 1988, recorded in 1987-1988, Vancouver, Canada. The album received both critical and commercial success and included the hit song Vox. During this period she also contributed to an album by Moev, and embarked on her first national concert tour as an opening act for The Grapes Of Wrath.

Her second album Solace (1991) was a real breakthrough in Canada, spawning the hit singles The Path of Thorns (Terms) and Into The Fire and being certified double platinum for sales of 200,000 copies in Canada.
