Out of My Hands Lyrics

I'm sick of the state we're in
And every little thread is wearing thin
I've been livin' life in the slow lane
But something's got to changeWhat time is it where you are?
You're in bed and I'm at a bar
And right now opposites attract
And I don't know if I can bridge the gapThe phone bills and missed calls have got usThey've got us at the mercy of a mile
In no place to make demands
I'll make it worth your while
But right now it's out of my hands, it's out of my handsOde to sleep pillows and sheets
The last place I'd expect us to meet
I'll be back before you know
So don't worry if you're running lowThe phone bills and missed calls have got usThey've got us hanging at the mercy of a mile
In no place to make demands
I'll make it worth your while
But right now it's out of my hands, it's out of my handsAt the mercy of a mile
In no place to make demands
I'll make it worth your while

But right now it's out of my handsWe're at the mercy of a mile
In no place to make demands
I'll make it worth your while
But right now it's out of my hands, it's out of my hands
It's out of my hands, it's out of my hands

The Donnas are an American all-female hard rock band from Palo Alto, California. After gathering a cult following since their May 1993 debut, the band achieved major commercial success in the late-90s and afterward. Heavily influenced by the energetic punk rock of the 70s and 80s, they're perhaps best known for the top 40 rock smashes "Take It Off" and "Fall Behind Me". All of the initial band members– Brett Anderson, Allison Robertson, Maya Ford, Amy Cesari, and Torry Castellano– were born in 1979.
