Outside (Family Values Version Feat. Fred Durst) Lyrics

And you
Can bring me to my knees
AgainAll the times
That I could beg you please
In vainAll the times
That I felt insecure
For youAnd I leave
My burdens at the doorBut I'm on the outside
I'm looking in
I can see through you
See your true colors
'Cause inside you're ugly
You're ugly like me
I can see through you
See to the real youAll the times
That I felt like this won't end
Was for youAnd I taste
What I could never have

It's from youAll those times
That I tried
My intentions
Full of pride
And I waste
More time than anyoneBut I'm on the outside
I'm looking in
I can see through you
See your true colors
'Cause inside you're ugly
You're ugly like me
I can see through you
See to the real youAll the times
That I've cried
All that's wasted
It's all insideBut I feel
All this pain
Stuffed it down
It's back againAnd I lie
Here in bed
All alone
I can't mendAnd I feel
Tomorrow will be okayBut I'm on the outside
I'm looking in
I can see through you
See your true colors
'Cause inside you're ugly
You're ugly like me
I can see through you
See to the real you

Staind is an alternative metal band formed on November 24, 1995 in Springfield, Massachusetts, United States. After meeting through friends and covering pop hits of the day in smalltime clubs for a year and a half, Staind self-released their debut album, Tormented, in November 1996, citing influences in brutal latin thrash metal. Until recently, the album was difficult to obtain, as only four thousand copies were originally sold. Since then, the band's official website has released the album to meet the demand from fans.
