Over Your Shoulder Lyrics

Look over your shoulder
I'm here
The face on your head looks older
We're hereNever gonna change
Never gonna disappear
Stars shine down on me tonight
Doors close tightDay of departure
Is near
Ears on your head
Don't hearNever gonna change
Never gonna disappear
Stars shine down on me tonight
Doors close tightVictims fall, ghosts descend
You get scared and I'll defend
I don't really care but I'll pretend
The good and bad right to the end, end, endLook in the cellar
We're here
I've been meaning to tell you

I'm hereNever gonna change
Never gonna disappear
Stars shine down on me tonight
Doors close tightVictims fall, ghosts descend
You get scared and I'll pretend
I don't really care but I'll defend
The good and bad right to the end, the end, end, end
End, end, end, end, endLook over your shoulder
I'm here
The face on your head looks older
We're hereNever gonna change
Never gonna disappear
Never gonna change
Never gonna disappearNever gonna change
Never gonna disappear
Never gonna change
Never gonna disappear

Echo & the Bunnymen are a British post-punk band formed in Liverpool in 1978. The original line-up consisted of Ian McCulloch (of The Crucial Three), Will Sergeant and Les Pattinson. There are many stories, probably apocryphal, that the quartet was completed by a drum machine known as "Echo". By the time of their debut album, 1980's Crocodiles - a moderate UK hit - the drum machine had been replaced by Pete de Freitas.
