Over the Wall (live) Lyrics

The man at the back has a question
His tongue's involved with solutions
But the monkey on my back
Won't stop laughingOver the wall
Hand in hand
Over the wall
Watch us fallThere's something to be said for you
And your hopes of higher ruling
But the slug on my neck
Won't stop chewingOver the wall
Hand in hand
Over the wall
Watch us fallI'm walking in the rain
To end this misery
I'm walking in the rain
To celebrate this miseryWhat's that you say?
Speak up I can't hear
What did you say?

I couldn't hearOver the wall
Hand In hand
Over the wall
Watch us fallPounding the road
Coast to coast
Pounding the road
Coast to coast
Come over the wallI can't sleep at night
How I wish you'd hold me tight
I can't sleep at night
Come on and hold me tightHold me tight
To the logical limit

Echo & the Bunnymen are a British post-punk band formed in Liverpool in 1978. The original line-up consisted of Ian McCulloch (of The Crucial Three), Will Sergeant and Les Pattinson. There are many stories, probably apocryphal, that the quartet was completed by a drum machine known as "Echo". By the time of their debut album, 1980's Crocodiles - a moderate UK hit - the drum machine had been replaced by Pete de Freitas.
