Pale People Lyrics

I know it's time for me to grow up
I know my head's somewhere else but give me a break
I've never done this before
And somewhere in between I'm feeling lonely
You wouldn't have a friend that I could borrow?
'cause I know there's a lot of nothing around hereI know it's been a while I should have called you
I know that you fit in but I'm not you
And somewhere in the middle I'll go crazy
Do you know somebody who cases?
'cause I know there's a lot of nothing around hereHey, hey you
I'm surrounded by pale people
Hey, hey you
I think I'm fading too..I know there's got to be a way to make them get me
I know sometimes I don't get myself at all
And someplace on the sun there is a black spot
Do you know the weatherman too?
'cause I know there's a lot of nothing around hereHey, hey you
I'm surrounded by pale people

Hey, hey you
I think I'm fading too..There you go..
Trying to teach me the lesson you learned
Don't you know, I already tried that
And I got burned..Hey, hey you
I'm surrounded by pale people
Hey, hey you
I think I'm fading too..

Maria Viktoria Mena (born February 19, 1986) is a Norwegian singer-songwriter. Mena was thirteen years old she moved to live with her musician father. She sang and wrote lyrics as a form of therapy for her feelings and frustrations. Not all the stories in her diary became songs, but "My Lullaby" was one of them, expressing her pain from her parents' divorce. After pleading with her father to make a demo, he contacted some industry experts to record Maria's songs in the studio. Then he presented his daughter's demo to the music industry. Sony Music signed Maria Mena to their label.
