Pale and Paralyzed Lyrics

Leaves on the wall are shaking her down
and breaking her mind with unsettling sound
courage collapses and uncertainty reigns
she tries to summon her strenght to thunder through it againSinks her teetg into a terrible rage
and plunge her fist into the darkneas
she's losing her ground in a war being waged
the war being waged by madnessShe's fallen prey to the shadows
Caught in the haze with a sad mistake.
Maybe the ground will open
Surely the earth will swallow her whole
One cracking blow to the temple
Doubt takes hold, She's lost control.Fire persists in the corridor wall
She jumps at the sound of each foot falls
long and dark cause the journey ahead.
at home her body turns and tosses in bedoften she thinks she is somebody's need
but it's just her own blood rushing in her ear.
the force inside her that steers her head
toward the beast in the darkness

the truth she seeks in the shadows
halfway between being alive and dead
the devil ia out for her tonight
under the moonlit sky above
she's frozen in fear of lord and fright
and in the bloodshot eyes
she sees the moon on high
pale and paralyzed
so bright and as white as the bones of a dove.
