Panama Lyrics

Have you seen Panama
Where I first fell in love
It will forever be an emerald necklace
Set between the seasBeside a crystal stream
In the mountains of Chiriqui
I saw a girl astride a horse she waved at me
I was fifteenI was not a child I was not yet a man
I was trying very hard to understand
Indifferent to the dangers of living in a foreign land
Was I falling in love or under the spell of Panama?Went riding off alone
Much further than I should have gone
I wandered deep into the dark
Now which way gets me homeThen suddenly there she was
All covered with leaves and dust
I couldn't believe it but she followed me
Now both of us were lostI was not a child I was not yet a man
I was trying very hard to understand
Indifferent to the dangers of living in a foreign land

Was I falling in love or under the spell of Panama? The clouds began to rumble
We found a dry piece of jungle
I don't remember if It rained
But I remember making loveSo clearly I recall
The magic of Panama
And surely never will it let me go
Yo Soy PanamenoI was not a child I was not yet a man
I was trying very hard to understand
Indifferent to the dangers of living in a foreign land
Was I falling in love or under the spell of Panama?La, la, la, la, la
La, la, la, la, la

Crosby, Stills & Nash is a pioneering folk/rock supergroup formed by David Crosby, Stephen Stills and Graham Nash - refugees from three 1960s bands: The Byrds, Buffalo Springfield, and The Hollies. The band is primarily known for their three-part vocal harmonies. They are strongly associated with the 1969 Woodstock Festival. They are commonly referred to by their initials CSN.

The trio's first eponymous album was released in May 1969 and was an immediate hit, spawning two Top 40 hit singles and receiving key airplay on the new FM radio format.

In late summer 1969, the trio expanded to a quartet with Neil Young with the name changing to Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young (commonly referred to by their initials CSNY).
