Paradise Lyrics

Lonely people gathering there to be one
Gonna be the last time wasted
Gonna be seen to be goneRun a mile for the minute
Gonna mind another day without you in it
And youYou promised me paradise
Don't go back on your word
No, you
You promised me paradiseAll my days of loving you under my skin
Gonna be a wild, wild world
When nobody wants to give inGonna call me on the hour
Gonna mind if I don't hear it
I would hate to be youYou promised me paradise
Don't go back on your word
No, you
You promised me paradiseCan you tell me if there's gonna be another reason to cry?
Will I be the last to know?
Unless we make another way of doing what we do
We won't believe it anymore

Will I be the one to cry?Problems, problems haunting me
Circle my head
Gonna be a wild world, let me hide away
Under your bedRun a mile for the minute
Gonna mind another day without you in it
And youYou promised me paradise
Don't go back on your word
No, you
You promised me paradise
You promised me paradiseYou promised me paradise
You promised me paradise
You promised me paradise
You promised me paradise

The Bee Gees, originally made up of three brothers: Barry Gibb, Robin Gibb (died 2012), and Maurice Gibb (died 2003), have been successful for most of their 40-plus years of recording music. They had two distinct periods of exceptional success: as a pop act in the late 1960s and early 1970s, and as a foremost act of the disco music era in the late 1970s. The Gibb brothers were born on the Isle of Man, UK to English parents in 1946 (Barry Alan Crompton Gibb, September 1) and 1949 ( twins Robin Hugh Gibb and Maurice (pronounced "Morris") Ernest Gibb, December 22).
