Paradise Is for the Blessed Lyrics

There was something else
I should have said.
How could I say?
I thought I'd said too much. And there was something else
I should have known
How could I know?
I thought I knew it allAnd there was so much more
I could have had
That I still could have
If you give me timeAnd there's a bridge ahead
But I just don't know
If I'll cross that bridge
When I get to itYou've heard it all before
It matters to me
You've heard it all before
That's the story of my life
Such a sad and lonely lifeThere was something else
That I could have seen

How could I see?
I thought I'd seen it allAnd there was so much more
I could have had
That I still could have
If you give me timeAnd there's a bridge ahead
But I just don't know
If I'll cross that bridge
When I get to itAnd it's been so long
Since I felt anything
And it's been so long
It's been so longYou've heard it all before
It matters to me
You've heard it all before
That's the story of my life
Such a sad and lonely lifeBut paradise is for the blessed, not for the sex obsessed
paradise is for the blessed, not for the sex obsessedAnd I never lied
And I never cried
And I didn't run
I didn't try to hide
And I never ran
And I never lied
And I never cried
And you can't deny
That paradise is for the blessed, not for the sex obsessed
And paradise is for the blessed, not for the sex obsessed
