Paris Afternoon Lyrics

Music in the garden, a summer’s afternoon
Barges on the river, at the Louvre
And top hats on the corner, romance in their eyes
Oh, it was such a time to live.
The summer by the seaside, winds from the south
Father with the glasses, looking out.
Sails on the horizon, I wonder who she is.
Oh, it was such a time to live.
Sails on the horizon, I wonder who she is.
Oh, it was such a time to live.
Ladies on the avenues, beneath parasols,
Walking to the sounds of carousels
If I could be there now, then I would walk with you.
Somewhere in a Paris afternoon.
If I could be there now, then I would walk with you.

Somewhere in a Paris afternoon….
