Kuanta is an electronic post rock band from Istanbul, Turkey. It was founded by Emre Güneş, Emre Kurtaran and Emre Doğan, in early 2007 just to be able to perform at the festival of Galatasaray University in Istanbul. Later, in order to meet the need for a bassist and to break the abundance of "Emre"s in the band, Murat Yılmaz joined to band. Because of the lack of equipment and concentration back then, gathering of the band took a few more months.
