Pasadena Lyrics

Ooh Its such a long, long way to Pasadena
Ooh Its such a long, long way to PasadenaWhere the dirt track meets the highway
And there aint no time at all
Just a world movin forward
On a big black motored crawlAnd the drivers in their Chevrolettes
Aint got no time at all
To find no lonely hikers way
Its when I wanna sayOoh Its such a long, long way to Pasadena
Ooh just to find some air thats kind of cleaner
Pasadena town is where Im goinWhy did they cut Beales Rise
To stage coach through Newhall
For a Mustang pony car
To muss up City HallNow theres a long freeway
Where the desert used to be
And theres no way that you can hike it
Ooh youll seeOoh Its such a long, long way to Pasadena
Ooh just to find some air thats kind of cleaner
Pasadena town is where Im goinDo,do,do,do,do,do do

Do,do,do,do,do,do doPasadena town is where Im goinThere aint no other town that I call homeOoh Its such a long, long way to PasadenaOoh yeah yeahOoh Its such a long, long way to PasadenaOh no my car wont startOoh Its such a long, long way to Pasadena

Baccara were a very popular Spanish dance-pop duo in the late seventies. The group consisted of Mayte Mateus (7 March 1951), and María Mendiola (4 May 1952). Their music was a blend of pop and disco, with lyrics in English sung with the peculiar Spanish accent of the two singers. Baccara's most famous hits were "Sorry I'm a lady" and "Yes sir, I can boogie", both of which topped the charts during 1977 in some European countries, including the United Kingdom. In 1978, their song "Parlez-Vous Français?" got the seventh place at the Eurovision Song Contest.
