Patience Lyrics

Damn you for trusting me
what's wrong with you?
I'll work for nothing less.Damn you for accepting my immaturity
when I scream for silence
child, I'll work for nothing less.I need patience, and someone strong enough to hold my breath for me until the smoke clears.I need patience, and time to think before I speak, when i scream for silence, I tend to lie.Damn you for letting me sleep till noon
and get away with it.
I'll work for nothing less.Damn you for keeping quiet when I lied to
I won't work for anything less.I need patience, and someone strong enough to hold my breath for me until the smoke clears.I need patience, and time to think before I speak, for when I'm short of breath, I tend to lie.Ahhhhh, ahhhhh, aaaah...I need patience, and someone strong enough to hold my breath for me until the smoke clears.I need patience, and time to think before I speak, for when I'm short of breath, I tend to lie.
I need patience, and time to think before I speak, for when I'm short of breath, I tend to lie

Maria Viktoria Mena (born February 19, 1986) is a Norwegian singer-songwriter. Mena was thirteen years old she moved to live with her musician father. She sang and wrote lyrics as a form of therapy for her feelings and frustrations. Not all the stories in her diary became songs, but "My Lullaby" was one of them, expressing her pain from her parents' divorce. After pleading with her father to make a demo, he contacted some industry experts to record Maria's songs in the studio. Then he presented his daughter's demo to the music industry. Sony Music signed Maria Mena to their label.
