Peel Out Lyrics

Everyday of my life they say the same old thing
Hey, boy
(Oh, boy)
You better wait your turnAnd everyday of my life I get the same old line
Hey, boy
(Oh, boy)
When are you going to learnI wanna go on the red, I wanna go on the green
I wanna go on all colors that I see in between
I wanna run all the tolls, I wanna run all the signs
I wanna run all the way across a double white lineBut everyday of my life I see the same old road
Hey, girl
(Oh, girl)
We gotta pull up our routesAnd everyday of my life I see the same old dreams
Hey, girl
(Oh, girl)
I need a dream I can useI wanna go on the red, I wanna go on the green
I wanna go on all colors that I see in between
I wanna run all the tolls, I wanna run all the signsMy body is the car and my soul is the ignition

Your love will be the key and we'll jockey for position
Till we, peel out, peel out, peel outWe're sick and tired of waiting in line
Peel out, peel out, peel out
Nobody's taking our time
Peel out, peel out, peel outTire tracks and broken hearts that's all we're leaving behind
There oughta be a law and there better be a crime
There oughta be a law and there better be a crimeAnd every night of my life there's something holding me back
Hey, girl
(What is it, boy?)
I know it's time to cut looseAnd every night of my life I dream of someone like you
Hey, girl
(What is it, boy?)
You got a dream I can useMy body is the car and my soul is the ignition
Your love will be the key and we'll jockey for position
Till we peel out, peel out, peel outWe're sick and tired of waiting in line
Peel out, peel out, peel out
Nobody's taking our time
Peel out, peel out, peel out

Zane Copeland, Jr. ( July 11, 1982 ), better known as Lil' Zane, is a rapper out of Atlanta, Georgia, although he was born in Yonkers, New York. He is arguably best known for his Young World: The Future, released in 2000. The album's single, "Callin' Me," is widely considered his best. Some criticise Copeland's style for being similar to Tupac Shakur.

In 2003, Copeland released The Big Zane Theory. With it, he formally changed his stage name from Lil' Zane to simply Zane. Copeland explained "Zane is my real name, that's the name that's on my birth certificate and my mom likes that name" for changing his name in a BallerStatus.net interview.

Copeland has been in several movies, including Cuttin Da Mustard, A Day in The Life, The Sun Will Rise, Motives, The Fighting Temptations, Dr. Dolittle 2, and Finding Forrester.
