My musical pursuits have in recent years taken me into dreamy, swirly realms of richly harmonic and romantically melodic electric guitar improvisations. Lush washes of sound are punctuated with stabs and eruptions of sonic crystals, the whole melting into a breath-like ebb and flow. Organic ambient atmospheric electronica, if you will. I was an early adopter of Eno's frippertronics techniques, and first performed and recorded using long loops in 1977 (with Mark A. Hartman). Feedback, decay, and self-accompaniment have been important elements in my music-making from that time.
