People Are Strange (The Lost Boys) Lyrics

People are strange is when you're a stranger
Faces look ugly when you're alone
Women seem wicked when you're unwanted
Streets are uneven when you're downWhen you're strange
Faces come out of the rain
When you're strange
No one remembers your nameWhen you're strange
When you're strange
When you're strangePeople are strange is when you're a stranger
Faces look ugly when you're alone
Women seem wicked when you're unwanted
Streets are uneven when you're downWhen you're strange
Faces come out of the rain
When you're strange
No one remembers your nameWhen you're strange
When you're strange
When you're strange
YeahPeople are strange is when you're a stranger

Faces look ugly when you're alone
Women seem wicked when you're unwanted
Streets are uneven when you're downWhen you're strange
Faces come out of the rain
When you're strange
No one remembers your nameWhen you're strange
When you're strange
When you're strange

Echo & the Bunnymen are a British post-punk band formed in Liverpool in 1978. The original line-up consisted of Ian McCulloch (of The Crucial Three), Will Sergeant and Les Pattinson. There are many stories, probably apocryphal, that the quartet was completed by a drum machine known as "Echo". By the time of their debut album, 1980's Crocodiles - a moderate UK hit - the drum machine had been replaced by Pete de Freitas.
