People Power Lyrics

Natty, natty movement to where we have come
Natty, natty movement so many miles to be done
Well, we're gonna take this movement on to the streets
One day to get downPeople power in the disco hour
People power in the disco hour
People power in the disco hour
There's gonna be a people power
In the disco hourListen, disco is a half way to a full discontent
Disco is the half way to a full discontent
Well, we're gonna take this movement
On to the streetsPeople power in the disco hour
People power in the disco hour
People power in the disco hour
People power in the disco hour
There's gonna be a people power
In the disco hourWe're going for dressing down
Of the Lords of makers, drag our feet
Dancing to fiction goers

Is that really all we need?People power in the disco hour
People power in the disco hour
People power in the disco hour
There's gonna be a people power
In the disco hourPeople power in the disco hour
People power in the disco hour
People power in the disco hour
People power in the disco hourPeople power in the disco hour
People power in the disco hour
People power in the disco hour
People power in the disco hourPeople power in the disco hour
People power in the disco hour
People power in the disco hour

Cornershop is an Indie Rock band formed in 1991 from leicester, UK, consisting of Tjinder Singh (singer, songwriter, and dholki player), Ben Ayres (guitar, keyboards, and tamboura), Anthony Saffery (sitar, keyboards and harmonium), Nick Simms (drums) and Peter Bengry (percussion). Most of the original members were also in the Preston band General Havoc. Their name comes from a term that refers to Indian immigrants that move to England, in that they often own street corner stores. Their music is a fusion of Indian music, British indie rock, and electronic dance.
