People Lyrics

1) People, people who need people
Are the luckiest people in the world
Were children, needing other children
And yet letting our grown up pride
Hide all the need inside
Acting more like children than children
2) Lovers, are very special people
They`re the luckiest people in the world
With that person
That very special person
Something deep within your soul
Says your half and now your whole
No more hunger and thirst
But first, be a person who needs peoplePeople who need people
Are the luckiest people in the world

The Peddlers formed in Manchester, UK in 1964 as a trio of TREVOR Morais (born in Liverpool, 10 October 1944), Tab Martin (born in Newcastle upon Tyne on 24 December 1944) and Roy Phillips (born in Parkstone, Dorset on 5 May 1943). Morais, the drummer, had previously played with Faron's Flamingoes and Rory Storm and the Hurricanes (who had struggled to replace Ringo Starr after he had left to join The Beatles). Martin, the bassist, and Phillips, on vocals and keyboards, had both been in The Saints and The Tornados; Phillips had also been with The Soundtracks.
