Perfect OK (feat. Reggie Watts) Lyrics

The clocks on the wall are fast
I'm aiming to be the last
If only to see
How everyone leaves
The time that we've started with has mostly been useless
We never did think to try not to blinkAll in all we'll find
The perfect OK lieLeave what we know
Find what we're after
Live while we're young
And don't need the answers
Leave what we know
Find what we're after
And I'll lead the way into ever after
All in all we'll find
The perfect OK lieI'll ask you to follow me
To move near the city
To share our commute
And save for more room

On weekends we'll stay inside
Listen to modern life
Clean all our things
And temper our dreamsAll in all we'll find
The perfect OK lieLeave what we know
Find what we're after
Live while we're young
And don't need the answers
Leave what we know
Find what we're after
I'll lead the way into ever after
All in all we'll find
The perfect OK lieWhen the black and white fades
To and effortless grey
I will be beside you
When the days turn to years
I will be hereAnd we withstand
And we withstand
One day it will be the same metal as todayLeave what we know
Find what we're after
Live while we're young
And don't need the answers
Leave what we know
Find what we're after
I'll lead the way into ever afterLeave what we know
Find what we're after
Live while we're young
And don't need the answers
Leave what we know
Find what we're after
I'll lead the way into ever after

Hey Marseilles is a musical group from Seattle, WA, that formed in the summer of 2006 after Nick and Philip forced Matt Bishop to write a song to an accordion riff and play it live for a work party downtown. The current lineup consists of seven members performing on guitars, cello, viola, accordion, piano, bass, glockenspiel, ukulele, mandolin, drums, and a plethora of rhythmic accessories. The music can be described as indie-folk, and has been compared to that of The Decemberists, Devotchka, and Bright Eyes.
