Perfect World Lyrics

White girl, in a perfect world
Youd trust in your lover
Will boys ever be boys againBlond boy, in a perfect world youd know if
You loved her
Will girls ever be girls againBlack boy, in a perfect world thered
Be understanding
Still youre perfect cause you love your girlBlack girl, in a perfect world thered
Be no demanding
Still youre perfect cause you love your manIt dont make no difference
Boys of London, girls of Memphis
We are all a revolution in this jaded institutionIn the New York times
To the L. A. coast
They go bump to bumpIn the perfect world
For the perfect boy and the perfect girl
They go bump to bump in the perfect worldBlack girl, in a perfect world youd know
That I love ya
And everyone would understandWhite boy, in a perfect world youd
Need no protection

And love would still be something in heartWhite girl, in a perfect world thered
Be understanding
And boys would be boys againBlack girl, in a perfect world youd know
That I love ya
And everyone would understandIt dont make no difference
Boys of London, girls of Memphis
We are all a revolution in this jaded institutionIn the New York times
To the L. A. coast
They go bump to bumpIn the perfect world
For the perfect boy and the perfect girl
They go bump to bump in the perfect world
