Phoenix Burn Lyrics

I need love that will release me
Keep me honest, keep me happy
I need a peace with understanding
Trying to find a softer landingI need to know when I can change this
Give it up and just embrace it
I need to find a way of letting it go
When everything falls apartI've taken too much, given up
I am twisted, burning, breaking up
I need to find a way of letting it go
When everything falls apartI could try but I'd never take it
Yell and I will never be heard
You will be my Phoenix burn
I could run but I'd never reach it
Leave but I might never return
You will be my Phoenix burnI need to push through the undiscovered
Find my answers, leave them uncovered
I wanna speak out what I believe in
That love will heal us, give us our freedomI need to know what's on the horizon

Change directions, stop the fighting
I need to find a way of letting it go
When everything falls apartI've taken too much, given up
I am twisted, burning breaking up
I need to find a way of letting it go
When everything falls apartI could try but I'd never take it
Yell and I will never be heard
You will be my Phoenix burn
Let me burn, let me burnI've taken too much, given up
I am twisted, burning breaking up
I need to find a way of letting it go
When everything falls apartI could try but I'd never take it
Yell and I will never be heard
You will be my Phoenix burn
You will be my Phoenix burn

Seven-piece Texan group Alpha Rev meld classical instrumentation with rock. They were formed in 2005 by singer-songwriter Casey McPherson after the break-up of his previous band Endochine. The band also comprises Derek Dunivan (guitar), Tommy Roalson (drums), Dave Wiley (cello), Alex Dunlap (bass), Brian Lewis Batch (violin) and Derek Morris (keyboards) Frontman Casey McPherson’s gripping, emotional songwriting dares others to search out hope in the bleakest of circumstances and the unique instrumentation pays homage to the classical music that gave him his love for the art.
