Picking Up the Pieces Lyrics

Got a ticket to a one-way train wreck
We fell off track before we left the station
And when the flames come pouring out,
You will find us
And we will be standing all around,
Picking up the pieces
This is just broken love
Two hearts that cant get enough
So when you have too much,
You gotta, gotta give it up
This is just broken love
Two hearts that cant get enough
So when you have too much,
You gotta, gotta give it up
Were a car crash, an accident with broken glass

Were a plane wreck, a parachute that wont eject
So lets leave this mess behind just to save us
We could strike this fire down
And leave the spots between us
This is just broken love
Two hearts that cant get enough
So when you have too much,
You gotta, gotta give it up
This is just broken love
Two hearts that cant get enough
So when you have too much,
You gotta, gotta give it up
Got a ticket to a one-way train wreck
We fell off track before we left the station
And when the flames kept pouring out,
You didnt find us
We were sitting all around, picking up the pieces
The pieces, the pieces
This is just broken love
Two hearts that cant get enough
So when youve had too much,
You gotta, gotta give it up
This is just broken love
Two hearts that cant get enough
So when you have too much,
You gotta, gotta give it up
This is just broken love
Two hearts that cant get enough
So when you have too much,
You gotta, gotta give it up

Giving their brand of euphoric rock a sharper, slicker edge, Every Avenue explores themes of lust, temptation and self-acceptance on new album Bad Habits' 10 driving tracks, solidifying their place in the next breed of strong contenders in pop rock. Their third full-length sees the band lacing their infectious melodies with a glimpse of a darker side, embracing their next phase with the passion of a band truly defining their sound and making it their own.

Making their mark through hard work, the stunning vocal stylings of singer Dave Strauchman and an unfaltering belief in their brand of quality rock tunes, the Motor City five-piece has exploded from hometown shows to international success in a few short years. The band has been a staple on the rock circuit since 2004, clocking up tours with All Time Low, Boys Like Girls, Metro Station and Hey Monday, and was featured in Alternative Press' Most Anticipated Albums 2011. The band's single "Tell Me I'm A Wreck" was in high rotation on Sirius Hits 1, with several weeks appearance on the 20 on 20 chart in fall 2010, and the poignant video resonated with fans worldwide, picking up airplay on MTV2 and was named Kerrang! TV's Video Of The Week. With an entire summer of Vans Warped Tour in front of them, Every Avenue stands defiant, a stable of killer tracks under their belts, poised to take Bad Habits to new heights.
