Pictures Of Pain Lyrics

Don't know if I could ever do it
Can't keep your fingers still
I fell once, you didn't see it
Face on the ground, I'm still here
Pray this is not forever
You're like a sacred stone
I'll climb higher till I see it
And then I'll let you know it's me
What does it take to make you see?
(Me)
That you were wrong
(Suffer)
I can't turn away from you like a girl and run
Just wanna talk about it, think about it
Will you listen?
(I can't see)
You're like the Mona Lisa I can't find
(I can't see it)

I love the way you look at me
As I surround myself with pictures of pain
Slapped down, wish that I could feel it
Can't pull myself away
Don't think I will ever make it
I'm in the acid rain, yeah
I'll crack up if I don't see it
They'll have to hold me down
Both hands tied, they're getting tighter
But no one hears me call, it's me
What does it take to make you see?
(Me)
That you were alone
(Suffer)
I can't turn away from me like a girl and run
Just wanna talk about it, think about it
Will you listen?
(I can't see)
You're like the Mona Lisa I can't find
(I can't see it)
I love the way you look at me
As I surround myself with pictures of pain, pictures of pain
See me, another one around my faith, hear me
What does it take to make you understand?
If it won't work I'll understand
What does it take to make you see?
Just wanna talk about it, think about it
Will you listen?
(I am me)
You're like the Mona Lisa I can't find
(Cover me)
I love the way you look at me as I surround
(I am her)
Myself with pictures of pain
Just wanna talk about it, think about it
Will you listen?
(You don't see it)
You're like the Mona Lisa I can't find
(You can't reach it)
