Place in Your Heart Lyrics

Hey, baby, love is coming at you
So you better be prepared
Hey, yeah, hey, yeah, hey
Newfound love is like a brand new toy
It fills you up, you want to burst with joy
When you're in love it's a wonderful thing
Your mind at rest, you want to try your best
Prepare a place in your heart
That's where it all start
A place in your heart
Make love your resort
Open your heart and let these feelings in
To deny these emotions would be like sin
A used love and true love I give to you
We made the start, so let's never part

Prepare a place in your heart
That's where it all start
A place in your heart
Make love your resort
Hey, a place in your heart
That's where it all start
A place in your heart
Make love your resort
New love is calling can you hear, my friend
It's rapping at your door, now breaking and entering
New love is calling can you hear, my friend
It's rapping at your door, you better make sure
A place in your heart
That's where it all start
A place in your heart
Make love your resort
Prepare a place in your heart
That's where it all start
A place in your heart
Make love your resort
Newfound love is like a brand new toy
It fills you up, you want to burst with joy
When you're in love it's a wonderful thing
Your mind at rest, you want to try your best
Prepare a place in your heart
That's where it all start
A place in your heart
Make love your resort
A place in your heart
Baby
A place in your heart
Make love your resort
Ha, ha, ha, ha
Remember I told you love was coming at you
You didn't believe me, did you
Yeah...yeah...yeah...yeah...baby
A place in your heart
That's where it all start, yes
A place in your heart
Make love your resort

Famous for his silk like voice (hence Garnett Silk) Garnett was an overnight sensation on the early 1990s Jamaican Dancehall scene. He started out in the mid-1980s deejaying on various sound systems and even recording the occasional track under the moniker "Little Bimbo". By the first part of the 90s, his locks had grown out and he went from deejay to singer, changing his name to Garnett Silk.
