Place to Be (feat. B.o.B) Lyrics

Advisory - the following lyrics contain explicit language:
Fuck the world man, we are the freshest
I'm higher than a baby on a seesaw with Precious
Y'all just the messengers, we are the message
You bang on wax, I beef off the record
Back like I trap, you can't spit this flow
I slang water, slang flour, I'mma get this dough
Behind my zipper where her lipstick go
Like an embryo in a hooker, I'm in this hoNickel!
Right off the rip, nigga we are the dopest
Y'all in front of the camera, we are the focus

Y'all are the watered down, we are the potent
Y'all call y'all bosses, we call the GOAT then
We ball fo' sho' and, here we are fast cats, fly
Me and bombs over baghdad, B.o.B
The only thing I hate to see is hate
In the place to beWhat an incredible place to be
Away from the bullshit, I'm fading slowly
Ain't no other place I'd rather be
Away from the lowlifes surrounded by money
What about nines and super freaks?
Bottle of patron, just roll that green
Put it down for the team
So while my bill is getting ends, take another shot
What an incredible place to beI'm feeling like Cassius, at last it's the greatest
Angry intelligent rap, mad innovative
Y'all blast garbage shit, we blast the haters
Hip Hop's a community, we smack the neighbors
The last men standing when the shit get real
When the rest up we stepped up like a 6 inch heel
I'm getting used to how this rich shit feel
But don't judge me, I'm doing my best to make my dick sit stillFresh in the strip club, he be the realest
Drugs got her number, she feel this
I said I need to love before I out her, not anything like a spouse
Told her the roof's missing, but everything's on the house
Got a table full of liquor, somethings gotta hit the spot
She might even put them on the glass if we mix a lot
Get her nice and buzzed
The night'll end when we decide it doesWhat an incredible place to be
Away from the bullshit, I'm fading slowly
Ain't no other place I'd rather be
Away from the lowlifes surrounded by money
What about nines and super freaks?
Bottle of patron, just roll that green
Put it down for the team
So while my bill is getting ends, take another shot
What an incredible place to beYou already know nigga, we be's the flyest
You might've seen high, but nigga we get the highest
Far as lighters, I need at least a 3 week supply with
Now all this pussy thrown at me, now I'm knee deep in 'gina
Bitch I'm bossin', fuck around and unleash Goliath
I go deep and get your poon all wet, call me Poseidon
I'm a giant, I eat beats and I burn good, that's my diet
B.o.B and Slaughterhouse 5Nine, every time I scribble a rhyme down
Niggas be like (that's a riot)
Crooked, Ortiz, sick with the flow (that's a riot)Or explosive, know it be like Floetry
So it's Ambrosis, I wrote it, know that it's cool to quote it
Joe!L one hell of a relevant MC, felon ya melon is empty
So elementary, but Neverlands be residing in our pens, CR, double O-K, E-D-I
Far up and away, cause we be highWhat an incredible place to be
Away from the bullshit, I'm fading slowly
Ain't no other place I'd rather be
Away from the lowlifes surrounded by money
What about nines and super freaks?
Bottle of patron, just roll that green
Put it down for the team
So while my bill is getting ends, take another shot
What an incredible place to beWhat an incredible place to be
Away from the bullshit, I'm fading slowly
Ain't no other place I'd rather be
Away from the lowlifes surrounded by money
What about nines and super freaks?
Bottle of patron, just roll that green
Put it down for the team
So while my bill is getting ends, take another shot
What an incredible place to be

Slaughterhouse is a hip hop group consisting of rappers Crooked I, Joe Budden, Joell Ortiz and Royce Da 5'9". The group formed in late 2008 after Crooked I, Joell Ortiz and Royce Da 5'9" appeared on the song "Slaughterhouse" from Joe Budden's album Halfway House. They took their name from the song.

The members of Slaughterhouse all share some degree of controversy from their past in the music industry. Crooked I (Long Beach, CA) was signed to Suge Knight's Death Row label from 1999-2003, but left after his projects were shelved amidst the disintegration of the label due to Knight's continuing problems with the law. Joe Budden (Jersey City, NJ) had initial success when he signed to Def Jam in the early 2000s, but for reasons unknown, fell out of favor with Jay-Z when the latter became head of the label. Budden eventually left Def Jam and released a diss track to Jay-Z entitled "Talk To 'Em." Joell Ortiz (New York, NY) was signed to Dr. Dre's Aftermath label but left after he was informed that his album would not be released until both Eminem and Dr. Dre released their respective projects. Finally, Royce Da 5'9" (Detroit, MI) is known for his falling out and feud with Eminem and D12, though the two sides have since reconciled.

All four men address these issues in the Slaughterhouse song "Move On (Slaughter House Remix)," informing any interviewers out there that their pasts are behind them and that questions pertaining to these events are not relevant. A video for the song was released in March 2009.

Their self-titled debut album, Slaughterhouse, was released on August 11, 2009 on E1 Music. The album was reportedly recorded over a six day period in early June. The album features production from Focus, The Alchemist, DJ Khalil, StreetRunner and D12's Mr. Porter.
On June 18th, 2009, the first street single off the album was released via Joe Budden's twitter. The track is "Hood Hop" (formerly known as "Woodstock") and features M.O.P. on the hook.
The first official single from the album will be "The One". A video directed by Rik Cordero has already been shot.
It was announced that "Woodstock" will not be on the final cut of the album due to sample clearance issues.
The debut album by Slaughterhouse was leaked to the internet late Friday, July 31st.
