Places To Go Lyrics

I got places to go, I got people to see
The penitentiary, ain't the place for me
I'm warnin you do, not tempt me
I'll run up and squeeze
And put a hole in you, hole in you
I got places to go, I got people to see
The penitentiary, ain't the place for me
I'm warnin you do, not tempt me
I'll run up and squeeze
And put a hole in you, hole in youYou mistaken me for somebody that you should be testing
Your should be stressin I'm gonna fuckin teach you a lesson
MAC 101's in session and lace the track that I'm blessin
Smith and western's, the weapon, in case you just guessing, these straight busters kept-in, kept-in
Watch the 22 spin , my hoe's a perfect 10
I got shot up but I got up and i'm back at it again
Motherfuckers they thought I wouldn't win, pretend to be friends
At first you fail, try, try, try, try again
I'm the best don't you get it, forget it, when I spit it, its crazy

You love it, admit it, you like it, I live it, its Shady
Aftermath in your ass bitch, if its not a classic
When it's dumped, trash it, so I got it mastered
Stop and get your ass kicked, bastered, your misses get drastic
Glock made out of plastic, cock-it and get blasted
Run nigga and stash itI got places to go, I got people to see
The penitentiary, ain't the place for me
I'm warnin you do, not tempt me
I'll run up and squeeze
And put a hole in you, hole in you
I got places to go, I got people to see
The penitentiary, ain't the place for me
I'm warnin you do, not tempt me
I'll run up and squeeze
And put a hole in you, hole in youThere is a genie in that bottle of that don-pari'on
I'm a drink till I get to that bitch in the morn
Introduce me to the booth they gonna listen to my words
In the hood they feel my shitPicture a perfect picture, picture me in the paper
Picture me starting shit, picture me busting my gat
Picture police man Dan gotta picture of that
Picture me being broke, picture me smokin a sack
Picture me comin up, picture me rich from rap
Picture me blowin up, now picture me going back
To my momma basement to live, shit, picture that
Where I'm from its a fact, you gotta watch your back
You wear a vest without a gat, use a target jack
Hastle hard, money stack, sell that dope, sell that crack
Sell that pack, sell that gat, sell that pussy, crew are back
50 Cent, too much spent?, man I'm bent, I'm outta hereI got places to go, I got people to see
The penitentiary, ain't the place for me
I'm warnin you do, not tempt me
I'll run up and squeeze
And put a hole in you, hole in you
I got places to go, I got people to see
The penitentiary, ain't the place for me
I'm warnin you do, not tempt me
I'll run up and squeeze
And put a hole in you, hole in youHa-ha
Man I aint going to jail
Not even to visit a nigga
You want to holla at me, you wright me
Matter a fact, you gotta send it to Sunset Boulevard
In Montreal
Ha-ha-ha
Riding around in one of Dre's Farrari's nigga
Or matter a fact I might be in Detroit
Riding down 8 Mile road
You know, for one of them en-joints and shit
Ha-ha
Ya heard, I got place to go man
You know, Shady/Aftermath
We finished our print money
Puttin' our faces on this motherfuckin bill thug shit
Ha ha ha ha ha
Ain't seem to be doing much

Curtis James Jackson III (born July 6, 1975 in South Jamaica, Queens, New York), better known by his stage name 50 Cent, is a Grammy award nominated rapper, actor, singer, entrepreneur, author and founder of the hip hop group and label G-Unit. After leaving drug dealing to pursue a rap career, he released his debut album Guess Who's Back? in 2002. He was discovered by Eminem and Dr. Dre and then signed to Interscope Records. He has since released 2003's Get Rich or Die Tryin', 2005's The Massacre, 2007's Curtis and 2009's Before I Self Destruct.

50 Cent has engaged in feuds with other rappers including Jay-Z, Ja Rule, The Game, Cam'Ron, Fat Joe, and Rick Ross. He has also pursued an acting career, appearing in the semi-autobiographical film Get Rich or Die Tryin' in 2005, the Iraq War film Home of the Brave in 2006, and Righteous Kill in 2008. 50 Cent is one of the richest hip-hop performers, having a net worth estimated at US $440 million in 2008.

Before 50 Cent ever inked a major deal, he built up a substantial fan base in New York through underground mixtapes. 50 Cent met up with Jam Master Jay of Run-DMC and was signed to his label to write all of Jay’s music. After he’d left JMJ, he signed to Columbia Records in 1996. On this label, he released Power of the Dollar, and the singles How to Rob and Ghetto Qu’ran. Columbia Records released him from the label after being shot on May 24th, 2000.

Around this time, Eminem had heard one of 50 Cent’s demo tapes and expressed a huge interest in him on MTV, as did Dr Dre. Shortly after this, 50 Cent officially signed to Interscope Records. He was the first rapper to sign to the joint label owned by Dr Dre and Eminem. The first song he released on this record was entitled Wanksta and was featured on the 8 Mile soundtrack.

In its first week of release, his debut ”Get Rich Or Die Tryin’” sold 872,000 units - easily reaching Gold status. Within the second week it went Platinum (1 mil) and on April 12th, 2004 the RIAA certified it six times Platinum.

In 2005 he followed the success of his album Get Rich or Die Tryin’ with a new release - The Massacre (originally called St. Valentines Day Massacre until the release date was pushed back). The first single released off this, Disco Inferno, was a huge hit - he followed this hit up by the release of Candy Shop and then again with Just a Lil Bit.

In 2003 Interscope allowed 50 Cent to have his own label - G-Unit records. He first signed Lloyd Banks, Tony Yayo and Young Buck as the established members of G-Unit. In 2004, Dr. Dre and 50 Cent had signed The Game under a joint venture.
