Playing Dead Lyrics

My head is pounding, it kills me more each day
Ive been here before with you
Theres nothing left, nothing left to say
Ill never say the words that we dont wanna hear
Ill never have to say the words, you never have to fearHeres where your story ends, heres where my life begins
No one knows you better than you know yourself
Everyone around you says you just need helpIm still the worser, better isnt yet
What Ive forgotten, you will soon forget to say
Ill never have to say the words that we both fear
Ill never have to say the words, you never have to hearIm giving up on you, not calling in
Stop, won't really work for me anymore
I hope it was worth it, Ill never do this again
No one knows just what you mean to me
And I hope you pick yourself up againHeres where your story ends, heres where my life begins
No one knows you better than you know yourself
Everyone around you says you just need help
Everyone will judge us by the words we said
Everythings easy if we just play deadNo one knows you better than you know yourself

Everyone around you says, you just need help
Everyone will judge us by the words we said
Everythings easy if we just play deadNo one knows you better than you know yourself
(Heres where my story ends)
Everyone around you says you just need help
Everyone will judge us by the words we say
(Heres where my life begins)
Everythings easy if we just play dead

Reggie and the Full Effect first burst onto the scene in Kansas City, MO during a break from The Get Up Kids. James Dewees, keyboardist for the aforementioned group wrote, recorded and performed all of the music and vocals himself. What started off as a gimmick would end up turning into a full touring band. As a former drummer for Coalesce, James has written some hardcore parts into Reggie and the Full Effect (Coalesce singer Sean Ingram shows up randomly through RATFE records).
