Poisoned Blood Lyrics

Slaves to money, bad to the bone
Blood is running through veins unknown
Mindless liars, stone dead souls
Putting you straight into a hole
Virus soiled, you're life's the tollCovering up, their dirty deed
No turning back, why?
They're just a bad seedPoisoned blood, money slaves
Poisoned blood, young man's grave
Poisoned blood, selling death
Poisoned blood, so take your last breathHell bound killers, germs of death
Their wealth comes first, your life comes last
HIV, the blood is pooled
Money's prime, so greed has ruled
You're jaded body's the one who's fooledCovering up, their dirty deed
No turning back, why?
They're just a bad seedEvil suppression, hiding the truth
No compassion, betraying the youth
They're getting rich from lies they've told

Selling your life, rotten and bold
Pound for pound you're measured in goldCovering up, their dirty deed
No turning back, why?
They're just a bad seedPoisoned blood, money slaves
Poisoned blood, young man's grave
Poisoned blood, selling death
Poisoned blood, so take your last breathPoisoned blood, money slaves
Poisoned blood, young man's grave
Poisoned blood, selling death
Poisoned blood, so take your last breathSo take your last breath

Running Wild is one band from a wave of German Heavy metal bands to emerge in the early/mid 1980s (along with Helloween, Rage, Blind Guardian, Grave Digger, etc). The music they play is a mixture of heavy and speed metal. The band has carved its niche in the metal world as the first "pirate metal" band, a theme which took off with the release of Under Jolly Roger in 1987. The band played their farewell show at the Wacken Open Air 2009, for which setlist fans voted for. In October 2011 Rolf officially announced the comeback including a new studio album called "Shadowmaker" due in April 2012.
