Ryan Rayford, born in New Orleans, LA on August 20, 1982, his full stage name is hasHBrown. His family moved to Houston, TX when he was barely 4 years old. During his late high school/ early college years he became a founding member of the hip-hop group, The Council. Alongside John Dew & Hip-Phonix, hasHBrown recorded a full length album, Black Bleach, (February 1, 2005 released locally by Council Music Group). The group's sound was a unique mixture of east coast production + southern slang/culture + elite lyricism and is still considered ahead of its time in regards to Houston Hip-Hop.
