Potential Victims Lyrics

I pledge allegiance to the rag
Of the United Westside Connection
And took a W for which it stands
One neighborhood, under [Incomprehensible]
Invincible with luxuries [Incomprehensible]Ice Cube, WCE and Mack 10
The gangsta, the killa and the dope dealerGot 'em, look nigga, you fit the description
This is dedicated to potential victims
'Coz who's the fiction, ain't no fiction
Too much bitching, get your ass beat into submissionTo all my white niggaz, to all my light niggaz
To all my dark niggaz, I'm tryin' to spark niggaz
I want to shot niggaz, not to mark niggaz
Fuck the park niggaz, I want your heart niggazThe 'hood most sine able, carnage and hymeneal, prep nigga
Prosecuted from making your brain sweat, nigga
And Crocker sense is the Westside nickel
We're proud of you bitches of the backward window, yeahFrom Mo Jay, to MJ and Michael Tyson
They fucked up Saddam like my nigga gangsta mind
You don't have to be a Taliban to fill the per tarn
Don't walk the double-u, victims of the rare black and blueI kick's in the door, wavin' a automatic

I'm mad as fuck, breathin' hard as a asthmatic
Attitude's unpredictable, behavior is boratic
Could snap at any time, and right now, I ain't had it, bitchMake no mistake about it
Your life has just been threatened
Threatened, threatened, threatenedTo all my white niggaz, to all my light niggaz
To all my dark niggaz, I'm tryin' to spark niggaz
I want to shot niggaz, not to mark niggaz
Fuck the park niggaz, I want your heart niggazGot 'em, look nigga, you fit the description
This is dedicated to potential victims
Because who's the fiction, ain't no fiction
Too much bitching, get your ass beat into submissionI clocked the camera, fuckin' up the camera, was working the things
Like holdin' was drama, dirt up my name
Mo money, mo drama, my nigga fuck the hype, flash the light
I'm Dub-C connected to the afterlife, come onYou look hard, act hard, in the backyard
Front yard, lunch card, but the nigga run hard
I run yards, punk guards, nigga so large
If I get caught, nigga no chargeHere come a westcoast gangsta in cagey and creases
Plus a pink slip nigga, you punks is leases
My wife, Bentley got peanut butter guts like Reece's
Blood peeled niggaz is red like endangered species, fuckerIn his age of terror, fear is the killer
One thing remains constant
The Westside motherfucking ConnectionYou might as well keep it gangsta
They've got us all under surveillanceBitch, you know the side
World motherfucking wideTo all my white niggaz, to all my light niggaz
To all my dark niggaz, I'm tryin' to spark niggaz
I want to shot niggaz, not to mark niggaz
Fuck the park niggaz, I want your heart niggazToo many lost
Too many lost

Westside Connection is a West Coast gangsta rap group consisting of Ice Cube, WC, and Mack 10. Their first album, Bow Down, reached the #2 position on the Billboard 200 in 1996. The group was formed during the East Coast and West Coast rivarly, coming out with a vengeance after the death of 2Pac. Death Row Records was suffering after the loss of 2Pac, poor sales of Snoop Doggy Dogg's Tha Doggfather and Dr. Dre leaving to form his own label Aftermath. Because of this, while Bow Down was enjoying chart success, its corresponding label Priority climbed the gangsta rap hierarchy.

After a seven-year haitus, the group reconstituted itself and released their second album Terrorist Threats in 2003 and sold respectably, fueled by the smash single "Gangsta Nation" with Nate Dogg.

Two albums may prove to be their limit, as members Mack 10 and Ice Cube are currently embroiled in an argument over Ice Cube's reluctance to go on tour, opting instead in favor of his movie career.

Although the rap supergroup came up and diminished relatively quickly, its impact is still felt today. Although it did not pioneer any new styles, it rather showcased the gangsta rap style at its peak with 3 of the best artists from the West. Bow Down is largely considered by fans and critics just short of a "classic" album today. Hip hop fans still speculate as to the amount of potential the group had if they had not disbanded so abruptly.

WC contributed to Ice Cube's seventh solo album, 2006's Laugh Now, Cry Later and his newest album I AM THE WEST.
