Prayer Shack - Big Medicine Head

Big Medicine Head first rolled out of Santa Cruz, California in 1986. Their first two albums, "Rex Hotel" and "Cool Electric Sky", were marked by country inflected power pop, wry social observation, and, for some reason, an abundance of rolling Nevada desert highway imagery, behind some whiskey and very little sleep. Singer/songwriter/guitarist Bob Gemmell and bass player Jaco Lascot started BMH. JD Devros (guitar, keyboards), Jeff Davis (drums) and Bruce Rockwell (guitar) filled out the roster.
