Prehistoric Love Lyrics

Ooh, ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh
Ooh, ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh
Oh, oh, oh
Ooh, ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh
Ooh, ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh
Oh, oh, oh
You, you cross the room like déjà vu
With the daylight shining through
You’re calling out with silent sounds
And your eyes whisper the truth
Of a life that I lived in a time and a different place
Memories that surge in me of a prehistoric love
Of a life that I lived in a time when I touched your face
Memories that surge in me of a prehistoric love.
I can’t survive, I need you

Memories that surge in me of a prehistoric love
I can’t survive, I need you
Memories that surge in me of a prehistoric love
Ooh, ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh (prehistoric love)
Ooh, ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh (prehistoric love)
We, we used to dream of days like these
Do you still imagine me?
I’m calling out with silent sounds
Do my eyes whisper the truth?
Of a life that we lived in a time and a different place
Memories that surge in me of a prehistoric love
Of a life that I lived in a time when I touched your face
Memories that surge in me of a prehistoric love.
I can’t survive, I need you
Memories that surge in me of a prehistoric love
I can’t survive, I need you
Memories that surge in me of a prehistoric love
Prehistoric, prehistoric, prehistoric love
Prehistoric, prehistoric, prehistoric love
When you call me, always told me
How could I get sick of this?
Say you want me, let you love me
How did I get sick of it?
I can’t survive, I need you
Memories that surge in me of a prehistoric love
I can’t survive, I need you
Memories that surge in me of a prehistoric love
Ooh, ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh
Ooh, ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh
Oh, oh, oh
Ooh, ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh
Ooh, ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh
Oh, oh, oh
Of a life that I lived in a time and a different place.

The most prominent Lithuanian jazz singer and a master of flute. On stage she spreads emotions and sincerity, and her voice, mostly used as an equal instrument in the ensemble and often leading up to emotional culminations, is both full of vitality and intimately mild. Since 1986, when Neda first appeared on the jazz stage with the student ensemble, led by her teacher Vladimir Chekasin, her flute and colourful voice was heard in projects with almost all of the Lithuanian jazz masters, as well as with her international partners.
