Pressure On Lyrics

Picture in a roaming mind
Another place, another time
Once took more, just a whine
To make me stop and look behind
False belief and vain hope
I lie to myself and pretend to copeDon't put too much pressure on
Don't put too much pressure on me
Don't put too much pressure on
Don't put too much pressure on meNever mind, you'll be blind
You're confined to a paranoid mind
Never mind, you'll be blind
You're confined to a paranoid mindDon't put too much pressure on
Don't put too much pressure on me
Don't put too much pressure on
Don't put too much pressure on meIf I stop, take a look
The whispers stop, I become unstuck
A second look from slight eye
The need to run from passersbyFeeling I from inside

The need to run from the phantoms of mine
Having mind, certain kind
I'm confined to a paranoid mindDon't put too much pressure on
Don't put too much pressure on me
Don't put too much pressure on
Don't put too much pressure on meNever mind, you'll be blind
You're confined to a paranoid mind
Never mind, you'll be blind
You're confined to a paranoid mindDon't put too much pressure on
Don't put too much pressure on me
Don't put too much pressure on
Don't put too much pressure on meFucked up mind, in a state
Constant paranoia now turned to hate
Better go, your fate is near
Cling to a life you hold so dearI see red, I want you dead
A lost cause is what the doctor said
Having mind, certain kind
I'm confined to a paranoid mindDon't put too much pressure on
Don't put too much pressure on me
Don't put too much pressure on
Don't put too much pressure on meNever mind, you'll be blind
You're confined to a paranoid mind
Never mind, you'll be blind
You're confined to a paranoid mindDon't put too much pressure on
Don't put too much pressure on me
Don't put too much pressure on
Don't put too much pressure on me

One Way System first lit up the second wave punk revolution with their fresh faced, no nonsense sound in the early eighties, when Oi! and skinhead culture had all but rejected the original punk ethic. One Way System managed to bridge the gap. From the front cover of Sounds to the Olympic Auditorium in Los Angeles, the System remained sharp and impressive, their natural aggression and un-faulting professionalism sealing their reputation as one of the most exciting bands on the international punk circuit.
