Pretending I Don't Care Lyrics

My days are so lonely, my nights are so blue
Though my heart is broken, it belongs to you
Of misery and sorrow, well, I've had my share
Like you I'm pretending that I don't careYou pretend to be happy, gay and carefree
But I know that sometimes you still think of me
Just bein' without you I can't hardly bear
Like you I'm pretending that I don't careMy days are so lonely, my nights are so blue
Though my heart is broken, it belongs to you
Of misery and sorrow, well, I've had my share
Like you I'm pretending that I don't careI pray for the power to forget and forgive
That you ever hurt me the way that you did
Oh, I shouldn't want you but the feelin's still there
And like you I'm pretending that I don't careMy days are so lonely, my nights are so blue
Though my heart is broken, it belongs to you
Of misery and sorrow, well, I've had my share
Like you I'm pretending that I don't careLike you I'm pretending that I don't care
