Pretending The Stars Lyrics

Baby what'cha think about steppin' out
Going for a ride and shaking up this town
We could put the top down and feel the wind
Go wild
Underneath the moon with the radio on
We can drive around until they play that song
Islands in the stream that's what we are
So fun
Pretending the stars shimmer and shine for us
And the world revolves around our touch
And the sky would fall if we ever gave up this love
Maybe we can find a karaoke bar
We don't need the words we can make them up
Drink down the beers and piss the locals off
All night
Pretending the stars shimmer and shine for us
And the world revolves around our touch

And the sky would fall if we ever gave up this love
Doesn't really matter wherever we go
As long as we're together and we don't
Let go
Pretending the stars shimmer and shine for us
And the world revolves around our touch
And the sky would fall if we ever gave up this love
Pretending the stars
Beautiful stars
Beautiful stars
