Pride In Place Lyrics

I got a bad feeling that I'll never be satisfied
There'll always be something
Try to bring me down inside
Ain't no words for the way I feel
Lookin at your photograph
You know I've got to walk away
Just to keep my pride in placeOh oh, I got to keep my pride in place
Oh oh, nobody take my pride awayThere's nothing to see here
'Cept the wreckage of a poor man's dream
Ain't nothin but trouble
Tryin to fit in someone else's scheme
I got no words for the way I feel
Standin in the knee high grass
I swear I'm 'bout to blow away
Watchin the shiny cars go screamin pastOh oh, I got to keep my pride in place
Oh oh, nobody take my pride awayWhen you want to love somebody
With all your damaged soul
You don't want to know about

The fire that started that you can't controlOh oh, I got to keep my pride in place
Oh oh, nobody take my pride away
