Prophecy Lyrics

Torment, anger
Runs through my veins
Leaving me cold inside
Surrender [Incomprehensible]A living, giving corpse so weak
A sacred path where do we fall
Desired anguish, fear of life
Makes martyrs of us allDelusioned prayers fill the air
A hopeful soul is so hard to see
Human cruelty frozen in time
A world so hard to feedNothing, nothing seems to matter
The rain begins to fall
Nothing, nothing to believe in
Even angels learn to fall[Incomprehensible]A trantic march into the sea
Being hunted to extinction
This human bond of frail morality
A tarnished ground of true convictionA teardrop falls behind closed walls
There's so much more of life to see
The closing of the door

The mind and so much more
A broken moment to believeNothing, nothing seems to matter
The rain, the rain begins to fall
Nothing, nothing to believe in
Even angels learn to fallNothing, nothing seems to matter
The rain, the rain begins to fall
Nothing, nothing to believe in
Even angels learn to fallTorment and anger
Runs through my veins
Leaving me cold inside
Surrender your feelings
Unfolding is the veil
Turning love to despairThis anger
A silent rage
This anger
A silent rate

Front Line Assembly are Bill Leeb (vocals, synthesizers) and Rhys Fulber (synthesizers and samplers), one of many groups formed by the prolific Vancouver, Canada-based duo. After working in the mid-'80s under the pseudonym Wilhelm Schroeder with Skinny Puppy, the Austrian-born Leeb formed the industrial/ebm-based Front Line Assembly in 1986 with Fulber -- who initially joined on as a studio assistant -- and synth player Michael Balch.
