Prove My Love Lyrics

Just last night I was reminded of just how bad
It had gotten and just how sick I had become
But it could change with this relationship
De-de range we've all been through some shit
And if were a thing I think this things begunTell me now what do I have to do
Alright, tell me now, what do I have to do
Alright, tell me now, what do I have to do
To prove my love to youSpecial favors come in 31 flavors
Were out of mints, pass the life savers
I'm droppin' hints candy for candy-coated tongueYou'd be so good, so very good for me
What do you think tell me honestly
I'm wait wait wait w-wait wait
Waiting for you to comeTell me now, what do I have to do
Yeah, tell me now, what do I have to do
Yeah, tell me now, what do I have to do
Yeah to prove my love to youThird verse same as the first
Just last night I was reminded of just how bad
It had gotten and just how sick I had become

But it could change with this relationship
De-de range we've all been through some shit
And if were a thing I think this things begunOh, tell me now what do I have to do
Yeah, tell me now, what do I have to do
I'd do anything, what do I have to do
I'd do it all, what do I have to doI'd do it all for you, what do I have to do
I'd climb a mountain, what do I have to do
I'd cross the ocean, what do I have to do
I'd do it it all, what do I have to doOh, to prove my love to you

The Violent Femmes were an alternative rock band, formed in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States in 1980. The band originally consisted of Gordon Gano (vocals, guitar), Brian Ritchie (bass), and Victor DeLorenzo (drums), with second drummer Guy Hoffman being added into the band in 1993. The band split in early 2009, their last recording being a cover of the Gnarls Barkley song "Crazy", a response to Gnarls Barkley's cover of the Femmes song "Gone Daddy Gone" released the previous year.
