Pump Up the Volume Lyrics

We've taken our clothes off in the rewarder
And you're leavin' your shoes on to make you look taller
And I can't say I'm not enjoying the kissing
But I've a sneaking suspicion that you're not really listeningI know I shouldn't, is it so wrong
To break from your kiss to turn up a pop song?
I know I shouldn't and it's possibly wrong
To break from your kiss to turn up a pop songI'm takin it slowly, I've been readin the signs
I found my hand in a place where I can't tell if she minds
Rolling around amongst our clothes on the floor
I can't help it, have you heard this song before?I know I shouldn't, is it so wrong
To break from your kiss to turn up a pop song?
I know I shouldn't and it's possibly wrong
To break from your kiss to turn up a pop songThen something angry muttered
Between two people, red and flustered
We just kissed and that's about it
It may as well have been radio staticI know I shouldn't, is it so wrong
To break from your kiss to turn up a pop song?
I know I shouldn't and it's possibly wrong

To break from your kiss to turn up a pop song

Multi-Instrumentalist/Producer Zo! is Detroit-area born and raised Lorenzo Ferguson. Music was always present in and around the Ferguson house, which led to Zo! taking piano lessons at age 6… which he absolutely despised. The idea of working toward a Major League Baseball career, served as the greatest inspiration through his teenage years, much more so than the concept of practicing music. After his parents consistently pushed and encouraged him to stick with music, Zo! discovered a new-found passion, by teaching himself how to play piano by ear, by age 11.
